                                           Rental Info and Rules

There are cameras on the property viewing the driveway, parking area and yard. 

 

4 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, and 1 paddle boat are provided and shared among Shore View Cabins guests.  They are located beyond Cabin 3, at the end of the property.  Please walk behind the cabins to access the water equipment for guest privacy.  Feel free to launch from that location.  Please return the water equipment to the rack area after each use, so that it is available to other guests.  Additional kayaks can be rented from Elk River Custom Rods, and they will deliver for a fee.  (Please note, the firepit in the vicinity of the water equipment is private to Cabin 3.  We do not have a communal firepit.) 

 

* Only use designated firepits for campfires.  If you want a campfire, you must rent either Cabin 3 or the Main House.  Cabin 1 and Cabin 2 do not have firepits and may not use the firepits at Cabin 3 or the Main House.  There is not a communal firepit.  Do not move the fire rings.  If you start a fire, you are responsible.  Be respectful of other guests and try not to let a fire smolder.  Do not put cans or garbage in the firepits.  Firewood is not provided.  Do not peel bark off trees.  Phillips Lumber & Hardware sells firewood and is located just north on Hwy 13.

* NO PETS

* No tents

* No campers

* No events

* No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes.

* Bring your own lawn chairs. 

* Bring your own beach towels.

* We provide bath towels, but please bring your own bath towels if ATVing or UTVing.

* Do not clean ATV's or UTV's on Shore View Cabins property.

* NO FIREWORKS.

* Do not rinse or pour any type of grease down the drain.  Wait for the grease to cool and then pour the grease into one of the provided storage containers and place it in the refrigerator.  We will dispose of it when cleaning.

* Do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.

* The fireplace in the Main House is not usable; the house would burn down, as there is no chimney.

* Do not park or drive on or along neighboring properties, as there is ample parking available on Shore View Cabins property and on the street.

* Respect the privacy of others and do not walk in front of another cabin, and do not use the deck or dock of another cabin.

* Grills are provided in the summer months.  Keep grill away from the siding of the cabin and turn off the grill after use.  Propane is not guaranteed.

* Deck furniture is to remain on the deck.

* Close windows if leaving the premises for an extended time.

* Do not leave your boat tied to a dock during a storm or if conditions pose a risk of damage.

* Clean fish outside and place fish remains in a Ziploc bag (provided) before disposing, to contain the smell.  You may place the Ziploc bag in the freezer, and we will dispose of it when cleaning.

* City quiet hours are 10PM to 7AM.
